Cold Lake is attempting to re-establish a broomball league. This season, we are a playing mixed non-contact pick-up broomball to introduce newcomers to the sport and remind previous players how much fun it is with a view of creating a mixed league in coming years.  Ice times are Monday 11:30 am to 1 pm and Wednesday 8 to 9:30 pm at JJ Parr Arena from Oct to Apr.  If there is sufficient interest we hope to attend Alberta and Saskatchewan tournaments and possibly enter a team in the provincial championships.  Cost is that of a Recreation Pass or drop-in fee as detailed on the JJ Parr web site (free for military personnel).  Individuals must provide their own helmet (full face shield required in accordance with JJ Parr arena policies).  Broomball equipment and brooms are available and shoes can be ordered through the organizer.  All are welcome - men, women, juniors.  For details, contact:
