3 NEW CHAMPS CROWNED AT
2009 PROVINCIALS

It was a weekend of upsets at the recent A.B.A. Provincials that were held in Thorsby. All 3 champions were first-time winners at Provincials, something that has not happened at ABA Provincials in many years. At the end of the day, the Lethbridge Broncos (Mens A), the Calgary Deez Nuts (Mens B), and Team Lethbridge (Womens) all claimed gold medals in 3 very thrilling championship games. Congrats to all 3 teams, and thanks to all participating teams for making these 2009 Provincials a huge success!

Women's Silver-  Edmonton Wasabi

3 TEAMS OFF TO NATIONALS

Alberta will be well represented at the 2009 Canadian Broomball Championships later this spring. A.B.A. will have 3 teams attending, 2 Men's teams and 1 Women's team. On the Men's side, the defending Alberta champion Calgary Blazers and the runner-up Calgary Chiefs will be at Nationals. On the Women's side, the Edmonton Wasabi, defending A.B.A. champions, will be also playing.
